The science behind it
Cagrilintide is a long-acting amylin analog. Activates calcitonin and amylin receptors in the area postrema, suppressing food intake via a pathway parallel to GLP-1. Combined with semaglutide as Novo Nordisk's "CagriSema" in Phase 3.
